Goal

Create a stylized poster of the San Francisco de Alameda Church that evokes both historical charm and modern visual appeal—serving as a collectible art print with cultural significance.

Approach

Inspired by vintage travel posters, I illustrated the church with simplified shapes and a muted yet warm palette. By blending traditional textures with digital clarity, the piece strikes a balance between classic and current. Careful attention was paid to architectural detail, light, and color harmony to create a piece that feels rooted in place.

Results

The final poster serves as both a tribute to Santiago’s heritage and a modern decorative piece. It stands out within the Mappin series and has been used in print and digital formats to celebrate Chilean cultural identity.
